Flexibility is the key to the success of a modern classroom. With the transition of faculty's role from "sage on the stage" to a "guide on the side," there is a whole new set of requirements for instructional spaces. Today's college classrooms and class labs require multi-level lighting systems, optimal acoustics, thermal controls, and abundant access to power and data. They must be designed so they can be easily reconfigured to support new and evolving pedagogies.
